I hadn't picked up a racket in almost ten years.

Tennis wasn't part of my life anymore until it came back, unexpectedly, while I was building something new. And with it came a memory I hadn't returned to in a long time: Tennis was one of the last things I did with a person who mattered greatly to me.

That's really where Capcoo started. Not as a business first, but as a way of looking at something familiar and realizing it still had something to say.

Tennis, at its best, isn't really about the score. It's about how you carry yourself, win or lose, under pressure, in front of people. Composed. Unhurried. Certain of yourself without needing to prove it.

It's the walk to the court in crisp whites. The quiet confidence of a well-worn racket. The slow afternoons that turn into evenings on a clubhouse terrace, long after the last ball's been played.

That's what Play Elegant actually means to us. Not a look. A way of moving through life on the court, and off it.

Elegance, to us, isn't about performance. It's about how you treat the people around you, and how you treat yourself when no one's watching. It's quieter than people expect. It doesn't shout.

We design for the feeling as much as the sport, everyday pieces inspired by the ease of a well-spent afternoon on the court. with linen trousers on a Sunday, thrown over shoulders at golden hour, or paired with nothing more than good company.

We build accordingly. Considered fabrics heavier, softer cotton, not the cheapest blank available. Embroidered detail where it matters most, printed where the design calls for more depth. Every choice is made because it's right for the piece, not because it's easiest. Details that hold up under a closer look, the same way we hope you do. Every piece is crafted in small batches and finished with care, nothing is rushed. We'd rather make one thing beautifully than a hundred things quickly.
